Development

We develop the athlete; we develop the person. My goal is always to create great volleyball players, but also great people. I wish to instill in my athletes a good work ethic, leadership skills, a growth mindset, and a general attitude to be successful not just on the court, but in life. We will develop the players' skills to be successful passers, setters, hitters, servers, and dynamic palyers. We will develop the players' character to be positive, uplifting, hardworking, and enduring in difficult situations. This development may result in college recruitment to play at the next level. This development will certainly result in successful individuals in life.

Recruitment

We always will support our athletes in their goals to pursue volleyball at the next level. We will help advise athletes on what they need to do to do the hard work, earn the right grades, do the extra curriculum activities, and develop the skills to be successful at the next level.

Statistics

One of the best ways I support the athlete in their pursuit of this goal is through keeping track of their statistics on the court and publishing them to MaxPreps from the very first moment they enter the program their freshman year through the senior year varsity experience. Not a lot of programs track statistics for the lower levels, and some do it very poorly at the varsity level. This is truly one of my strengths to help athletes reach their goals and get recognized for their achievements.

Video

I also support this by providing game footage to the athletes. This video is recorded by me on match days, and then uploaded to my YouTube channel and posted to my website all within a day of gameplay. This is cheaper, and quicker than the use of services such as Hudl, and gives athletes access to these videos on any device, and the freedom to edit clips and create highlight reels in any way that is convenient to them.

FIELDLEVEL

I also encourage college recruitment through the use of FIELDLEVEL, which is free to athletes, and allows them to be recruited from JuCo to DIII, DII, and DI levels.
